First Driver’s License

During the fall, our Migrant Education Coordinator, Ana, worked extensively with high school senior Jose on the regulations and requirements to getting his driver’s license. It involves a lot of class time, exams, and setting up the crucial practical driving test. Ana was even able to accompany Jose to his appointment.

After plenty of studying and hours spent practicing driving, Jose passed the driving exam and got his license! We couldn’t be more excited for him.

“I’m really proud of Jose,” Ana says. “He worked really hard toward his goal and with his driver’s license he has even more independence.”
